How???..to answer this then u must watch this video first...
(Please don't try this without a goggle..who knows u might have the voice)
So.. what is actually resonance ??
Resonance happens when a system is forced to vibrate/oscillate at a frequency that equal to its natural frequency by an external force
Lets figure out what does it mean by an external force..Watch the following video!
(the recorded sound acts as an external force which force the glass to vibrate at its natural frequency)
Lets now examine the Barton pendulum case..try to watch next video!
- the weight caused the horizontal support to vibrate at the natural frequency of a pendulum system of its length
- resonance causing the other pendulum of similar length to oscillate the most
Have a look at this one as well..resonance can sometimes create disaster..
The bridge has a natural frequency, and the wind (an external force) forces the bridge to osicllate at its natural frequency. This is called resonance. The amplitude increases and the system (the bridge) reaches its maximum energy.

hello..
This website helps me ALOT in my Physics...
I dont really understand what's things are..And now you helped me to figure out how is it about..
Thanks alot..
Found this web via my Physics Teacher!^^
Lots of appreciation ~
awesome! (asilah)
