SPM Physics Home Tuition

Last weekend I went to one of the SBP nearby Putrajaya to give physics tuition to a new student. He didn't do well in his final exam in which he scored just above the passing mark. In that first session, we did some soul searching to figure out what went wrong in the last exam. It turns up that one of the main reasons, he missed 2 months of class after he broke his leg during a rugby match. So for those who actively involved in sports..please look after your self. Avoid getting unnecessary injury especially if u are now in form 5.

Then I advised him like it or not he needs to learn how to study physics on his own because I can only visit him 4 times a month. So I shared some tips on how to revise all the topics that he missed especially the most challenging chapter i.e LIGHT. The tuition session last for two hours. So we had a chance to discuss some topics on wave chapter and some KBAT discussion on forces and motion.

A day after the class I asked the parent for his feedback on our first session. Alhamdulillah, it went very well as the boy understood the topics we discussed & liked the class very much.

SPM physics: Trial Exam

Hi..

I'm sure SPM candidate for this year are currently busy preparing for their trial exams starting this month. May be some of u have finished your trial. If u have done it, this is the best time to gauge your overall knowledge on physics subject. Can u answer all the questions with confidence during the trial??If the answer is a big NO, then u have to do some reality check.
In general u can do these following steps:

•  Check which topic in form 4 and form5 that u still couldn't understand?
•  Check which physics paper in the trial u 've found most difficult to answer?
•  If u found out paper 2 is the culprit, then check again which section of paper 2 that u found  most difficult to deal with.

Then consult your teacher and friends to help u solve those problem. Well if they can't really help u, then i suggest u hire a private tutor that can assist u. Is it too late to hire a tutor at this dying moment?? May be its not too late..but i suggest u hire an experience tutor with a good track record.
Usually these tutor will do the post mortem, and try to highlight your strength and weakness..
What ever your trial result will be..it is not for u to give up..stay positive and look forward for improvement. I had a student who failed his trial..but yet he managed to ge A- in SPM. But u need lots of courage and be mentally and spritually strong to overcome the odds. Just keep trying until the end.U'll never know.. may be luck is still with you.. All the best.

SPM Physics Trial Exam

This week most of my home tuition student were busy preparing for their trial exams.In the picture below, these girls are from Sekolah Aminuddin Baki. I came over to their place to revise with them a day before their trial which was held on last Wednesday. In last midterm exam, 2 of them managed to get 'A' in physics, while the other girl got 'A-'. Hopefully in this trial exam, they will perform better. Of course, the next phase is to prepare them for final assault, i.e an 'A+' for SPM.

 I wanna take this opportunity to wish the very best of luck for those who will be having their trial sooner or later . If u guys managed to do zero careless mistakes, i m pretty sure that your physics results will be much better than your midterm results..

SPM physics :Online tuition

Many people asked me details on how my online class is working. Actually it is quite simple. All u need is a good internet connection with minimum speed of 1Mb. Then u need a pc or laptop with flash player installed.
U dont need a webcam to join the class. In fact i also dont use any webcam. However student can still hear what i talk and able to see whatever i write on the screen. Usually before joining the class, i will give them  a special link. They simply click it to log in to the classroom. Then, they can start asking me questions in real time. At the moment my online class is available for form 5 student..and will be applicable to form4 student very soon. Seems trial is around the corner, every session i will revise with them tips on answering exam questions.Moreover, if u have registered as my student u have the previllege to join my private Facebook study group in which u can discuss questions with me and others until your SPM examination.
