The advantage of having 1 to 1 online physics class, student have the opportunity to ask the tutor on things that they still could not understand. There will be lots of two way communication. Unlike in a group class, some student tend not to share their problems openly. So if u too shy to share it, then i suggest 1 to 1 class is a good option  to discuss your physics problem.In fact u dont need a webcam, just by having a good microphone, u can still discuss it with your physics tutor.  If u are given an option to attend a bigger grp tuition class or private class, which one should u choose?? The answer should depend on the student. If u can stay focus with all the things being discussed during bigger grp class, then u should go for it.

But if u can't..then a personal 1 to 1 class or private small grp class should the best option.

The advantage of having a personal class, students can ask things in detail. At the same time, the tutor can highlight students weaknesses and improve their understanding.

The physics paper for SPM2020 is finally over after several postponements due to covid 19 pandemic. This is the last paper under KBSM syllabus. All of my students did say that they can answer all the questions. In fact, the last day revision especially on paper 3 had helped them a lot.  Hopefully, it will be transformed into the result of a flying color. While this year it is going to be the first batch of SPM2021 under the new syllabus of KSSM. Several new chapters are added to the syllabus. SPM Physics 2020: How to deal with Exam stress

SPM2020 candidate will be having exam in just few weeks. While COVID 19 cases are getting worst...student need to look after their health..remain calm and stay focus. 

Stress is common symptom when exam is approaching. U'll find that time is ticking faster than usual. U might think that u haven't done enough. But this is not the time to criticise yourself..instead stay calm and focus on what u can do. If u still haven't completed paper1 past year paper..this is time to do so. At least u ll know what are the basic concept that u still haven't mastered. Then discuss it with your teacher, friends, and tutor. 

It is important to learn how to release your stress. Here are some of the examples that u can do to overcome  anxiety during this stressful month:

1. Pray hard and make dua..

2. Spend quality time with the loved one

3. Exercise - this might help u to combat stress especially if  u love sports.

4. Playing with your cats or pet... i found this very helpfull whenever i hug my cat, my negative mood has changed:)

There are many other ways to release the pressure that you feel. It is important for u to know how to handle the pressure, especially in this critical moment. I wish u all the best :)

SPM Physics: Relate the Usage Hour & Electrical energy

Selangor is under movement control order again. So we're advised to stay@home unless we've something need to be done.

One thing most people had noticed during the last locked-down period, our electricity bills were skyrocketing like never before. 

Why the rate is so high?  

Well..once we stay at home for almost 24hrs..we'll be using more electrical appliances. Air cond, electric fan, light bulbs & other electric appliances have to work for extra hours..Thus, more electrical energy will be used. TNB charged us based on the amount of energy being consumed. In a simple word..the more energy we use..the more we have to pay $$$$

So if u are a student, please learn how to minimize the usage hour...Or else be prepared to empty your parent's wallet at the end of the month..and that won't be nice..right? :)

Trial exam is getting closer. How do u know that u are now ready to face the SPM trial physics paper??

Here some tips..try to attempt any paper 1 trial past paper. U can download it from tis link:

If u can get less than 10 mistakes out of 50 questions..i m pretty sure u've grabbed most of the basic stuff.

However, once u get less than 30 correct answer..then u must pinch your cheek before its too late :) Seek advice & tips from your physics tutor/teacher.

SPM Physics: Solar Energy

It is almost a year and a half since I 've been using  10 solars led lamp to lights up the outdoor area of my house. Each lamp is rated with 5W if it is fully charged by solar energy.

The lamp is using LDR in which it lighted up automatically when it is dark.

Usually it starts from 730pm and the battery will last up to 6.30am. 

So total hours for a day will be 11 hr.

Now lets calculate how much energy in kilowatt-hour is consumed a day for each lamp:

Total energy consumed a day by one solar LED lamp:

Energy,E = P x t

            E = 0.005kW x 11hr

            E = 0.055 kW hr 

Since I am using 10 lamp..so  total energy per day will be, 

            E = 10 x (0.055)

            E = 0.55 kWhr.

Imagine for a year in average will be 365 days..

So total energy used per year will be….  

           E =(365 days) x 0.55

           E = 200.75 kWhr.

Usually TNB's average rate for  1kWhr =RM0.218

So for a year, On average these 10 lamps should cost me… 

           RM0.218 x 200.75 = RM43.76

The best part is I don’t have to pay anything to TNB as I am using a free source of energy which is the solar energy from the sun.

Can u imagine if all our electrical appliances are powered by solar energy? How much money will be saved a year? The most important part is it is environmentally friendly.

 Let's fully utilize solar energy.
