After reading all these, u guys should check tis out!! Its fun

Amplitude?
As waves travel, they set up patterns of disturbance. The amplitude of a wave is its maximum disturbance from its undisturbed position. Just look at figure above!
Wavelength?
It is the distance between a point on one wave and the same point on the next wave. Usually we take the distance between crest(puncak) to another crest.
Frequency, f?
The frequency of a wave is the number of waves produced by a source each second. It comes from a word 'frequent'(berapa kali), it also means how frequent the wave produced per second.
By formula, f= 1 /T and its unit is Hz.
For example,Your PC might be working with a frequency of 4GigaHertz i.e 4000000000000 numbers of data received per second.
Period, T?
It is the time taken for 1 complete vibration or oscillation of a wave. In formula, T= 1/ f
Speed of wave,v?
the speed of wave represented by a formula, v=f λ i.e the product of frequency and its wavelength.
but why when i answer definition of wave : length between two peak or crust, my answer was wrong.
ReplyDeletei means wavelength
ReplyDeleteu've to mention betweeen two "successive" cresst
ReplyDeleteif it is GigaHertz it should be 4000000000 not 4000000000000 (asilah)
ReplyDeletehaha at last aftr 2 yrs someone has noticed this error..btw thnx for the remindr
